John Piper has a GREAT reminder this morning for all of us serving in student ministry in this post. He cites 2 Corinthians 4:5, “What we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.”What are we presenting to the students who walk down the halls of our churches? What will they remember about our church when they are freshmen in college?
Do we want our students to be in love with us and our programming or in love with Christ and His Kingdom? Is God the subject of the sentences of our student's language of faith, or are we?
