CPYU has a great podcast on adolescent brain development here. Two things really caught my attention in the last 4 minutes of the interview that I need to immediately act on. First, we need to allow for cognitive dissonance in our student ministry. Translation? We need to start saying "I don't know." Second, I need to do a better job of connecting and emotional and cognitive experiences that take place in our high school ministry when I meet with students.
