Soaring Like Eagles

Tuesday night we had a dynamic team time. I was very interested to see how the team was doing when we gave them a chance to share how they were doing! We spent a significant amount of time talking through our present circumstances and where we see God. Our conclusion was that God is right in the middle of it. Everyone on the team spoke and the air was filled with praise for God and His provision. I was overwhelmed by the response. We concluded our time in Isaiah 40:28-31,

"28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

God is God and we are not! He doesn't grow tired! He doesn't grow weary! His understanding no one can fathom!

I walked away from that meeting with a song of praise knowing that our students are yearning to find God here! I sensed that it was the desire of everyone in the room to soar like an eagle.

These Words in Isaiah thrill me--they are so full of promise and hope! Dan the Lord is fulfilling His promises as you and the team serve Him. We are so thankful to Him for each of you!!
